Duck Breast with Pomegranite Reduction and Parsnip Puree
Comments: great flavor, loved the pomegranite reduction.

Roast Chicken with Sauteed Mushrooms and Mashed Potatoes
Comments: Juicy chicken and great flavors.

Desserts

Chocolate Gelato
Comments: Rich and creamy. Good solid milk chocolate gelato.

Chocolate Mousse
Comments: Very rich and dense. Somewhat dark chocolate with good flavor.

General: more expensive than the food probably deserves. Atmosphere is plain and somewhat unkept out in the patio area, which is a shame as it could be a very nice asset for the restaurant.

Bike Saturday

They blocked off some major roads in manhattan today for bike and walking traffic only. We took advantage of the reduced chance of death and rode from the Brooklyn Bridge to Central Park and all the way around the park.

Now we’re taking the west side bike path back home. We stopped for lunch at this new place by the Circle Line cruise dock. Here’s Lisa relaxing while we wait for our food.

Our friend Michelle introduced us to this place called Grom (Broadway and about 76th). Very smooth and very busy/trendy/silly.
